| Hotel DirectionsThe Medina Travels Choice Hotel is located off of I-71 and Route 18 at exit 218. The hotel itself is located on Rt. 18 West, also called Medina Road. The hotel's address is 2875 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. On the east side of the hotel is the Citgo gas station an convenience store called Shue's. To the west of the hotel in an attached parking lot is a Dairy Queen. Across Rt. 18 is a Holiday Inn Express with a lounge cal Lou's Landing in its parking lot.Interstate 90: If you are coming from the East or West along I-90, this turns into I-71 just south of Cleveland, and you would simply take I-71 South from there to exit 218. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left. This will take you under the highway overpass. You will make a U-turn at the second light (just before the Burger King and across from Lou's Landing / Holiday Inn Express) to get onto 18 West. The Best Western will be immediately on your right. Interstate 271: If you are coming from the Northeast such as Cleveland's East Side or Erie, PA areas, you can also take I-271 south. This will merge with I-71 just north of the hotel's exit. Merge with I-71 south and stay in the right hand lanes. Exit 218 will be the next exit immediately after this merger. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left. This will take you under the highway overpass. You will make a U-turn at the second light (just before the Burger King and across from Lou's Landing / Holiday Inn Express) to get onto 18 West. Travelers Choice will be immediately on your right. Interstate 80/Ohio Turnpike: If you are coming from the Northwest, West or East by way of the Ohio Turnpike, the best exit to get off at is Strongsville / Rt. 42. At this exit of the turnpike, you will have three options: I-71 north, I-71 south, and Rt. 42. Take I-71 south and proceed to exit 218 (about 5 exits from the turnpike). At the bottom of the ramp, turn left. This will take you under the highway overpass. You will make a U-turn at the second light (just before the Burger King and across from Lou's Landing / Holiday Inn Express) to get onto 18 West. Travelers Choice will be immediately on your right. Interstate 71: If you are coming from the South from Columbus or points further south, take I-71 to exit 218. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right. You will make a U-turn at the next light (just before the Burger King and across from Lou's Landing / Holiday Inn Express) to get onto 18 West. Travelers Choice will be immediately on your right. Interstates 77 & 76: If you are coming from the South or Southwest such as from Akron, Canton, Youngstown, or from states southeast of Ohio, you will probably want to take I-77 or I-76. I-76 west merges with I-77 north just south of the Montrose / Medina exit. Please note that there is an exit for Rt. 18 Fairlawn prior to this: this is not the exit that you want! Instead, wait for the exit for Rt. 18 Montrose / Medina. Take the Medina exit here and head west on Rt. 18. You will be on Rt. 18 west for approximately 10 minutes (about 7 miles). The hotel will be coming up just as you are coming up on signs for I-71. The first major landmark is a huge Antique Mall in Plaza 71 on your right. After a couple of car dealerships, you'll see Shue's Citgo, with the Travelers Choice next to it. Turn right into the parking lot and you're there!
